George and I met each other at Southwest Jr. High. We were both in band but hung out with different crowds. George was the first and only guy I had to fight at school. I was strange then and you may think it strange now but after the fight George and I started to hang out together once in awhile. We weren't really mad at each other to begin with anyway.

George did not continue in Band at LHS but we ran into each other in the halls once in awhile. I'll miss George and am very sorry to learn of his passing.

George was one of my oldest friends. We knew each other as young children (4 or 5 yo) and grew up and came of age together. When I pitched in little league, he was my catcher. How many times did we pole vault in his back yard? After H.S. I went to college and george or bubby as we always called him went into the Navy. After he was discharged he came to see me in my office. We soon discovered he had a lymphoma and he passed away 6 mos later. I loved George as a brother and regretted our reunion was so tragic. I have so many wonderful and funny memories of him and his family. He is missed and always will be as long as i'm alive  RIP brother after all these years your memory brings tears and a smile to my face.
